Grain Recipe: Oatmeal with Chicken or Turkey
Ingredients:
Rolled Oats / Oat Flakes (16oz)
Water (24oz)
Salt (2tsp)
Butter (3tbsp)
Chicken Breast (1 lb)
Serves 4
Cooking Instructions:
1. Fry chicken or turkey breast until ready
2. Chunk into small pieces or, even better, use meat grinder
3. Fry fine chunked onions in oil until golden color.
4. Combine oat flakes with water
5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until all water is
absorbed
6. Now, check if the flakes are ready – they should be tender, a little bit on mushy side. If not ready yet, add half glass of water and continue to
simmer
7. Mix chunked meat with cooked oats, oil and salt in frying pan; cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes constantly stirring to prevent sticking and
burning.
