Kasha Mamaliga
(vegetarian or vegan recipe, Authentic Moldova recipe)
Ingredients:
Corn Flour (8oz)
Water (16oz)
Salt (0.5tsp)
Vegetable Oil (3tbsp)
Grated Cheese (6oz)
Serves 2
Cooking Instructions
1. Bring water to a boil, add salt
2. Add corn flour
3. Stir, cover, boil for 5-10 minutes
4. Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil and mix
5. After putting on the plates spread grated cheese
and pour the rest of oil over (optional)
Comments:
Serve the kasha hot. With cheese -
this is not vegan recipe
